• Passwords are never stored — authentication is handled by Google Sign-In.
• Database access is restricted to authorised services only.
• API keys and credentials are stored securely in environment variables, never in the app code.
• Your data is stored on servers located in secure cloud infrastructure (Railway, USA).

While we strive to protect your information, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. We encourage you to use a strong Google account password and enable two-factor authentication.

5 Data Retention

We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active:

• Account data (name, email) — Retained until account deletion.
• Chat history & notes — Retained until deleted by you or on account deletion.
• Analytics data — Aggregated usage statistics may be retained in anonymised form after account deletion.
• Payment records — Subscription history is retained as required by applicable law and Google Play's policies.

When you delete your account, all personally identifiable data is permanently removed from our servers within 30 days.

6 Your Rights

You have the following rights regarding your personal data:

• Access — Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Correction — Request correction of inaccurate data.
• Deletion — Request deletion of your account and all associated data ("Right to be Forgotten").

AI Study OS is designed for educational use by students of all ages. However, our service is not specifically directed at children under the age of 13.
